Whether it’s you needing support, someone in your family, a friend or a work colleague, we are here for you. You can call our team who will discuss the most appropriate service for you.

Norfolk and Waveney Mind, are your local Mind mental health charity offering an extensive range of mental health services, along with associated training, advice and information.

Sonja Chilvers My Career with Mind began back in 2002, I came to Norwich Mind as a bank support worker in our residential Home "Omnia" and cleaned in the Norwich Office as this suited me being a young mum with two beautiful children. Over the past 19 years I have learnt and gained so much knowledge and experience and I have met and supported some amazing people. I have been privileged to sit alongside many individuals through their journey of recovery to build a life that is meaningful to them, those memories I hold close to my heart. In those first years being with the Charity I truly believe this has shaped the person I am. I gained qualifications and experience to then manage and leading services working my way up to where I am today 'Chief Operating Officer'. I have seen lots of changes over the years and worked with some fantastic teams, I am so very proud to be part of Norfolk and Waveney Mind driving the future of mental health provision across Norfolk and Waveney to be part of a truly integrated care system ensuring no-one faces mental health alone. Sonja Chilvers

Alex Wiseman I have been with the charity since May 2021 having worked in different sectors, but this has to be the most rewarding. My association goes back a little bit further having fundraised for the charity in the past, once running 5K every day for a month! I absolutely love working for the charity because I have a passion for mental health and breaking down the barriers associated with getting help. My role is to get out there and speak to businesses and create partnerships. We can’t do, what we do, without the support of all our fundraisers and corporate partners.
