What one piece of career advice would you give to the 20 year-old you?
Be strong, be confident in your abilities, and worry less
Who is your female role model?
All women are role models in their own right. However, my mum is my strength, and any working single mother is an amalgamation of determination, strength, courage, responsibility, care, and love.
What was your career goal when you were young?
To be happy and fulfilled and work in a position where it makes a positive impact
What’s your biggest career achievement to date?
Becoming confident in my abilities and moving my way into a position where I have assisted in getting 270 (and rising) young persons into work placements through the Kickstart Scheme.
What have your biggest challenges been as a woman in business?
Finding your voice to be heard. Use it as an advantage, if you are one of the only women in the room, use it as an advantage that you will be remembered, seek both men and women as connections and create a healthy work-life balance/blend. We can have it all.
