Meet Caitlin, she was born 17 weeks premature. On the night that she was born, she needed 21 blood transfusions to survive. One of our volunteer bikers made several trips from Addenbrookes to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital carrying the vital blood supplies to support her. At a Norfolk show in June of 2016, we were given the news that Caitlin survived due to the extra blood that was transported by Norfolk Blood Bikes that night. This news touched all of our hearts, showing us that the work we do helps to saves lives. It was decided to name one of the cars after her in her honour. Caitlin is now a healthy 5 year old thoroughly enjoying life.
