Throughout the pandemic, demand for advice and support has significantly increased, even as we are now seeing restrictions relaxed once again.

This came at a time where Leeway had to cancel all planned fundraising events and activities, as large gatherings were prohibited under Government guidelines.

The money generated from fundraising activities goes towards enhancing and sustaining the services that Leeway provides, enabling the charity to continue to provide the best possible support for those experiencing domestic abuse. 

Services such as Leeway’s advice and support team rely on the income received from grants, fundraising activities or donations from businesses and organisations. 

Over the next couple of months, we expect the demand for services to continue to increase, especially as life is expected to increasingly return to some sort of normality in the coming months.
