You will be talking about how tech can be used to facilitate sales and growth as part of our panel discussions at Talking Tech – can you give us a quick summary of why it is important for businesses to embrace green growth?
Firstly, it is important from an employer branding perspective. To be an employer of choice more and more candidates are looking at the values of a business and the type of business they want to work for. Salary and positions are no longer the only priority. Employees want to know they are working for ethical, responsible employers. The growth and success of a business is directly related to its employees and attracting top performers.
Secondly from a client acquisition perspective, it is important that companies consider how they are perceived in the marketplace. More and more clients are considering the green credentials of a business when deciding to work/buy from a company.
When it comes to tech to help facilitate sales and growth, what is one way that businesses can implement this in their business right now?
Businesses should conduct a review of all SOPs and processes in their business to understand how technology can drive consistency and productivity within those processes, so that technology adds value. Secondly, successful implementation of technology requires buy in and support from the team. Consideration needs to be given to how you involve the team when it comes to selecting new technology and getting their buy in from an early stage
Can you give us some hints as to what other takeaways businesses will get from your talk at the event (without giving too much away!)?
I will cover how businesses can maintain, sustainable profitable growth over a period of time whilst delivering consistent and high-quality service to their customers.
