Norfolk day is a fantastic occasion to mark what makes Norfolk so special and R13 are incredibly proud to be a Norfolk business. As we all know, the past year has been difficult for many, so this year’s Norfolk day is the perfect occasion to really SHOUT about the successes of the last year. So, what have R13 achieved in the last year?
R13 are pleased to say we have had 3 new consultants join in the last year, Natasha Coe, Sean Ferris & Ed Bott. They bring with them a combined 25 years of recruitment experience, allowing us to expand our offering to clients and provide even more recruitment support for businesses across East Anglia. They have brought so much personality and enthusiasm to the office and have been a welcome addition to our already strong team. We are also excited to say we have a new addition joining our Resource team in July, who will be supporting our consultants to deliver the R13 standard of service. It is great to be able to celebrate our growth as a business, which we know will allow us to become a great partner for even more Norfolk businesses.
Additionally, this year we have been nominated for a Recruiter Award for Candidate Care. This is a massive achievement for us as we put candidate care at the core of everything we do. We know that each candidate journey is different and so provide an individualised service for each person, ensuring we contact them about opportunities that are not only suitable for their skills but that also match their ethics and goals. We also tailor our support, whether that be CV or interview focused, to give each candidate the best chance for success. This award has reinforced our commitment to providing outstanding candidate care and we have resolved to always seek ways we can improve to provide the very best service possible.
The start of 2021 saw R13 move to our new offices at St Georges Works, this move was made possible by the continued success of the business, and we love our new digs!
2021 has also seen some record-breaking months in terms of achievement for each member of our team. We love it when we exceed target because it gives us the opportunity to really celebrate with the team and just recently, we headed to the Mancave Norwich for a relaxed afternoon of fun activities. We love to be able to treat our team and have those opportunities to really bond and LOVE that we have cultivated a such a fab team, who all get along so well!
Finally, perhaps the biggest area for growth is that we have changed the way we look at our business. 2020 reinforced how important our team are, so we took steps to ensure that R13 was appropriately giving back to our team. We surveyed the team to find out what areas of the business we could improve and how we could enhance our benefits package to make sure our team felt valued, that their wellbeing was being looked after and we could provide opportunities for growth. I 2021, we introduced new policies, an enhanced benefits and a new working from home policy that allow our team to have that much needed work/life balance. We are pleased to say as a result of this that our employee satisfaction rate is 98%.
We are delighted by the success R13 has had in the last year, but additionally we have seen so many successes across the wider business community and it brings us so much joy to see so many Norfolk businesses really thriving, from small local business to start-ups, to those larger well-know Norfolk brands. Everyone in Norfolk should give themselves a big pat on the back this Norfolk Day, as we had a tough 2020 but as community, we have all been able to band together and come out of it even stronger! Here’s to Norfolk (Hip Hip Hooraay)!!
