International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the world. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

Here at Norfolk Chambers we are dedicated to ensuring that employees are recruited and promoted based on their skills and knowledge needed for a particular role, not on their gender. However, we are mindful that there is still a way to go to make sure in business gender does not matter.

The theme of International Women’s Day 2021 is ‘Choose to Challenge’. A challenged world is an alert world. And from challenge comes change.

Throughout the day we will be sharing stories from some of our female members across our social media channels. We do this with the aim of ‘giving voice’ to women in business, but also sharing knowledge with both men and women on how they can encourage and nurture a business world that gives opportunities for all.
